My 3D printing class results.

Learning the 3D software Blender is tough at first, but everyone was able to conjure up something neat! Here are the results from this winter semester's youth class at the Pelham Art Center.

Created a music page

A friend of mine was bugging me to get my guitar playing online, so I finally sucked it up, created a SoundCloud account and posted some of my recordings from my iPhone. Click "Music" above in the navigation to give a listen. Comments, suggestions, critiques and satirical remarks are welcome. 😄

What is green screening?

This winter I introduced my stop motion students to green screening. Green screening is the process of using a colored fabric or material, typically green, in the background of a scene with the propose of replacing it with another image digitally. They are having a great time experimenting with it!

Offering a 3D printing class this winter!

I am offering a 3D printing & modeling class this winter at the Pelham Art Center to middle and high school students! We are learning from the ground up how to use the professional 3D software Blender (which is free by the way) to build 3D models which we can then print in physical form! Software like this isn't easy to learn, it takes time... but these students seem to have what it takes!

The Danny Fund has a new website... built by me!

The Danny Fund, a non-profit that helps sick children, has been a customer of OnPoint Image & Design since it opened up shop, and OnPoint happens to be where I've been working at about 5 years now. My boss and I offered our web services pro-bono and gave The Danny Fund's website a fresh new look.
